Salicylic acid helps minimizing the signs of aging by removing cells on the surface of the skin. It improves skin tone & texture and provide excellent exfoliation benefit, without the irritation associated with twidely used Alpha-Hydroxy Acids.
Our pharma grade Salicylic Acid is free of Paraben, Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC). It is ultra-low phenol with a typical level under 0.0006% and compliant with USP and European Pharmacopoeia.

Methyl Salicylate is used as a synthesis intermediate to produce Octisalate and homosalate by transesterification. Octisalate is mainly used as an SPF filter booster to achieve higher SPF, and as a substitute of solvents.

Salicylic acid is used as synthesis intermediate to make key salicylate esters by esterification. Quality and purity of salicylic acid can have a direct impact on the odor and the chemical purity of the final ester.
Fragrance ingredients produced from salicylic acid can be :Benzyl salicylate, Hexyl Salicylate, Amyl Salicylate, Cyclohexyl Salicylate, Ethyl Salicylate.
Methyl salicylate is used as a fragrance ingredient in perfume compositions.
Odor and product stability must be perfect in order to stabilize the overall composition made with other fragrance agents.
Methyl salicylate is also used as synthesis intermediate to make salicylate esters by transesterification. Salicylate esters can be also manufactured with salicylic acid, but methyl salicylate allows a straight-forward reaction, with higher yield.
As a liquid methyl salicylate is easier to transfer.
